About
An Edmonton commercial roofing contractor built around one idea: a flat roof should be done once, and done right.
Overview
Rain Roofing was founded by Tyler Gregory to do one thing well: commercial and industrial flat roofing in Edmonton. Tyler spent years on commercial roofs before starting the company, and saw the same failures again and again. Drains set too high. Flashings cut short. Warranties nobody could find once the roof started leaking.
Rain was built to fix those problems at the source. Since 20XX, we have worked for property managers, plant operators, general contractors and institutions across the region.

No houses and no shingles. Our crews and equipment are set up for low-slope commercial roofs.
Based in Edmonton, working from Acheson and Spruce Grove to Nisku and the Industrial Heartland.
Our roofs are installed by Rain crews, not subcontracted.
A warehouse roof and a house roof have almost nothing in common. Different systems, different equipment, different safety requirements, and clients with different needs. Facility managers want a schedule that works around operations, documentation for their files and a roofer who is prequalified before the bid. Doing only commercial work lets us be good at exactly that.
It also shapes who we hire and what we buy. Our crews train on commercial membranes, hot work and fall protection, and our equipment is sized for large roofs, not driveways.

Low-slope roofs cover most of the commercial and industrial buildings in the Edmonton region, and they are the roofs that suffer most here. Water does not run off them quickly. Snow sits on them for months. Every seam and drain goes through freeze and thaw dozens of times a year. A flat roof done well lasts decades. One done poorly starts leaking in its second spring. That gap is where a specialist earns its keep.
Rain is the enemy of every flat roof. So is the snow that turns into meltwater and the hail that bruises a membrane in August. We named the company after the problem we solve, and our tagline describes the job: engineered for weather, built for life. Every roof we install is planned around how water will leave it, in every season, for as long as the building stands.
Three rules shape how we work on every roof:
